(I would suggest you use two or three different maps so they don't just get used to only one.) They probably won't get them all the first time, so keep studying them a little each day until they do get them all, testing every Friday. My suggestion is to have your child do the pre-test at the beginning of the week. It was the presidential elections, by the way, that spurred this interest!Īfter studying the states for several days, for just a few minutes a day, she got 44 out of the 50! I wish I'd had Carlianne do thatįirst so that she could see her tremendous progress, because she knew very few other than our Pacific coast states, New York where she's visited, andĪ few states where I've spoken.
